Johnny Guitar

"Don't Give Up on Me, Baby" is an Emily Saliers song, which was
probably written in 1986. They performed it live for WRFG's "What
the Folk" radio show in that year, and that performance was later
released on the 1987 album "Don't Eat Out of Dented Cans." It's a
cute little song, which reminds me a lot of "Crazy Game." In fact,
Emily plays the sole guitar part on this song, too.
Don't Give Up on Me, Baby
Don't, don't give up on me, baby
Though we've seen shaky times
There's still solid ground to be found
I said, do

The Frail Girl

My nervous stage presence
I awkwardly smile
At the sassiest comment
In your outgoing style
You'll cut out my heart
And you'll do it to spite me
y'only like me cause I'm in a band
But at least you like me

I should feel bad
I should feel used
Keep my eyes closed
Just let me choose

You like my music
Rock n roll music
You got my songs in your head
On the weekend
I'm just a guitar
I'm just a CD
Something to keep
But I'm glad you've got me

Life reflector
Pretty heckler

Act like you mean it
Not just for free shit
You want a boyfriend
To get on the guest list
You're gonna use me
You're going through me
But I know right now
That you're happening to me

That should scare me
When you phone me
I'll be pretending
But at least not lonely

You like my music
Rock n roll music
You got my songs in your head
On the weekend
I'm just a guitar
I'm just a CD
Something to keep
But I'm glad you've got me

Life reflector
Pretty heckler
